Dear God,

I’m so afraid I’ll never be good enough. I’m so afraid my creativity is a fraud and that I’m fooling myself. I’m so afraid that I’ll never be who and what I want to be. I’m so afraid that the little twinge of unhappiness at the end of the day is my depression creeping back up on me. I’m so afraid that my best friend will die sooner than later because he won’t take care of himself. Please just help me to stop being afraid all the time.

This could have been me writing this letter.

I am also terrified that I can’t make it as a freelance creative.
I feel like I might as well get a job flipping burgers and live alone in a tiny studio where I can cry every night and not worry people.

    You are not alone.

    I guess neither am I

A pause for thought on those burger makers on the factory workers and chicken farmers,

Some people feel they dont achieve if they dont get what they want, so much that they miss out on what they need (support)
I’ve met more happy people in factories and fast food places because they make every effort to make sure that everyday they are making friends or laughing or enjoying life. They don’t let their jobs own their lives, they use them to create better opportunities for themselves and their friends.

Trust that your efforts, your style is unique and that right now, under these conditions, with these feelings and ideas. Everyday your making the right logical choice because its really the only one you would ever make. If you keep doing what you feel is right and your already successful doing that, then people will enjoy what you do simply because You do it and you enjoy doing it.

    You absolutely are “good enough”…
Right now you are allowing fear to define your existence. This fear stems from being uncertain.
There are no guarantees in life, no magic formula for a successful life. What is considered a successful
life is different for everyone. What does a successful life mean to you? Try to define it for yourself based
on what resonates with you…Happiness does not just fall into your lap you MUST STRIVE for it. Figure out a few
things that bring you joy and incorporate them into your life DAILY…little things..like music, playing with children, prayer,
    painting, exercise etc.

As for being who and what you want to be…life is a journey. Who you are and who you want to be is
constantly evolving. This never ends. So keep striving in the direction you want to go..Take steps each day in that direction..
Enjoy the experience of living, learning, evolving, growing, making mistakes, learning from your mistakes..
DONT waste your life being fearful…Work on the things you CAN control..You have no control over your bestfriend
    and his choices…

Most of all try to get God into your life ..obviously he is in your life to a certain degree as you are
praying to him…I dont mean neccessarily that you need to get “all religious”.. What i mean is just talking to him
often..asking him to direct and guide you…Ask God to remove your fear and grant you peace of mind..
Peace, this is truly the amazing Gift\perk that comes from drawing closer to your Creator. I am not
saying your live will become perfect, but when you start to see God’s hand in your life, and you
realise that you are NOT alone and that he LOVES you so much..you will start to feel less fearful.

Believe that he loves you, that you deserve peace and that you are good enough for whatever you
    put your heart into..

Of course you’re not alone, watch this, you’re in USA and I’m in Guatemala and we feel the same, and I try to say to myself please that someone understand me!!!, guess what i found out today??? So, I guess its something that worries to a lot of people, but everyone its different, no one will have the same ideas as you do, there will be alike but not exactly the same, and that’s the great thing about design you express whats going on your mind and you will always be unique. Pray everyday for creativity and to be strong, God wont let you down, answers come along, youll see! It has happen to me…

This could have been me writing this letter as well. I’m working on starting my on Graphic Design business and I am so scared of failure, that what I know and have learned in the industry won’t be good enough. That people won’t get quality work. Ugh. It makes me sick and it makes me sad because at the end of the day I feel no closer to success.

  6. RP Says:

Yeah I feel like that quite often. Right now I’m going through a positive time though! Think about it like this, rather than thinking that you have to create something yourself, try to believe that it already exists you just have to channel it. Trust your ideas - you’ve had them for a reason!

    Good vibes !!!!!

What God gives us is the only authentic truth. Your authentic self, your core (talents and creativity) is a direct reflection of God. We are made in his image and likeness (the same speaking spirit as God -the almighty great creator). God cannot lie so, to say your creativity is possibly a fraud is to say that God is a liar.

You suffer from what others have said and done to you over the course of your life. Stop speaking death to your life, God works from the end to the beginning (always), so, he has alraedy prepared everything you need and everything you can have in this lfe (what God has for you IS for YOU!). It’s your choice, speak it into manifestation or kill your future. You can speak life to yourself (your life) or death to your life…..I suggest you stop speaking death and get on with achieving your creative dreams. There is nothing to fear, God wins everytime! Be blessed and prosper…..Grace and peace to you!

PS: The word of God says: I have not given you a spirit of fear, but of love, power and of a sound mind (walk in love, pray for the power to grow and change and cast down negative thoughts and mindsets). Your creativity could change the world for the better….let the love flow:) Oh yea! and read your Bible more often…it’s very helpful!

the grace of God makes us good enough.God loves makes you a perfect child in his eyes

  9. just-a-pox Says:

Years ago, I’d have asked god the same question as well. When I look back at what I have been it makes me think why I thought that way when I really like what I like doing and I know this is what i’ll be doing the rest of my life, loving every precious moment of it. If it is the splinter in your finger caused by the judging eyes of others that’s troubling you, I say screw them! Don’t get convicted with worrying too much by the fact that others are constantly looking at you, they just do! We are all just social busybodies, it just makes us human.

Recently, I was told by a trusty someone to be a nobody that goes somewhere than a somebody who goes nowhere. It only makes sense to do what you want with yourself and not get ruled over by what other people want out of you. At the end, it’s your own happiness that matters. Get to it!

  10. True Says:

The love of the Lord casts out fear. Do you know what fear is? FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL! Most of the time, those fears are lies to hold you back and make you too scared to try. You can do anything with Jesus Christ on your side! The word of the Lord is able to divide soul and spirit. You just remember that you are the apple of God’s eye and so is your friend.Continue to pray for your friend and God will touch him or her and help them to take care of theirself. Ask God to give you confidence and strength to recognize your talents and know that the talents God has given you are for you and NO ONE can take that away! Be blessed! God loves u!
