Dear God,What of the terrorists win? That’s something I don’t want to say aloud but I know that if I say it to God He won’t judge me. What if America became an Islamic country? Would I have to pray to Allah? More importantly would America still be a great land of freedom and hope? I don’t see how it could be. I worry so much about my children and their safety. I heard once that there are men in Pakistan trying to build a bomb that would just send radiation throughout countryside. I could never imagine my children having to suffer in that way. For these reason there are times that I consider having no children. It scares me. How can I bring them into this world. If you REALLY want to be scared, read Revelations. One world religion? The bible says that there will be ONE world religion. And it won’t be Christianity. A lot of really bad things are going to happen. There will be only one world government. And the person who brings all of this together will claim that he is God. And people will believe him. And those who don’t believe will be killed. I know that I am willing to die for my God. But, am I ready to ask my children to die. What if I have to watch them die?
There’s a story in the book called Jesus Freaks about missionaries. I don’t know where they were but they were being persecuted and were to be executed for their beliefs. The persecutors dug a hole and put them all into it and then began to barry them alive. As they did this they told the family that all they had to do to save their lives, and the lives of their children was to deny the name of Jesus Christ. The refused. During this ordeal one of their sons got loose and ran into the bushes. The persecutors attempted to find the boy and were searching in vain when the father called out to him, asked him to come back and be with his family. He told the boy that if he came back that there would be pain, but that after the pain they would all be together with Jesus. The boy walked back and got into the hole. They were buried together. Alive. I believe that they are still alive. And with Jesus. Their story gives me peace. And fear. The fear that I could never do the same thing.
I know this all seems unrelated. But for me it’s all part of the same topic. If the terrorists win I will be put in a similar situation to this family. Convert or die. I know my response. And that is scary.

The only thing you have to fear is the fear that has been manifested by yourself. Your children are safe as long as you teach them love and to truly follow what god has taught us and that is to love one another regardless of race, religion and sexual orientation. You are worried about Pakistan building some sort of radiation device, what about the 4000 american soldiers your president sent to their deaths. Or the 100 000 innocent natives(mostly children) that have been killed by this war. It is not your soil you should be worried about. Ask yourself this ” Why do people who believe in God want to harm His most precious creatures?”. Would Jesus send his own brothers and sisters to their death in the guise of freedom. No…he would send himself to spread the word of love through peaceful means. You can only teach your children to love and tolerate the beautiful differences that exist in all of us. Should you succeed with that, then you have nothing to fear.

I think you should wake up from your delusions (sorry to put it so bluntly). You’re living in a culture of fear and paranoia, where most of the problems are created by your own society. It’s simple really: treat others well and they’ll treat you well (generally speaking, exceptions are inevitable). Enlighten yourself by acquiring knowledge so you can help steer your nation into the direction it deserves to be in; that which is truly in accord with the principles of freedom, justice, and democracy.

Do not believe all the rubbish in the media. As Guerilla says, you are liiving in a culture of fear and paranoia.
The reality of the world, the Muslim (and Islam) has no intention of invading or taking over any country. The only time Muslims are allowed to fight or take over (according to Islamic law) is in retaliation after an attack on them or in defense. So maybe the west should stop meddling in the Muslim world and the fighting would stop? Until now, not even ONE of these wars has been started by Muslims, all of the attacks or problems were created and begun by western powers, either through occupation or the support of a despotic leader (of a country).
President Bush believes in God, yet he has killed thousands of people by the occupation and war (not just foreigners, but American soldiers too). Israel is a ‘Jewish’ state, yet it fights out of faith or the politicaly disgusting ideas of Zionism. Religions or faiths are NOT the reasons here at all - in fact politics is. The people of Palestine do not fight back because of faith, but because they are oppressed.
“Islamic Country” - according to shariah law, all non-Musilms would be allowed to excercise their freedom, freedom of faith and life. Islam does not restrict human development, nor does it impose Islam (illegal in Islam) on others. These are basic truths about Islam - do some reading and you will come across the peaceful nature of Islam and the majority of Muslims.
But then again, nobody wants to make America a Musilm country or any other country - a country can only become Islamic if the people convert or accept Islam out of their own FREE WILL.

We have raped a thousand cultures just because of our delusions of god. Shariah law is hypocrisy in itself.
We are doomed if there would be caliphate in this world. But heck you could only understand if you really re evaluate our religion.. What do we do to those who convert to christianity? What free will are you talking about? Where the Zoroasters, the Bahai’s given their free will? Where are they now? In Israel of all places. What about the christians in Iraq?
Religion is a bad bad thing, and we must get rid of it. This was my final analysis in all things. It’s a human created structure which only perpetuates and influences hate among humanity.
Break free from your submission my free, be truly free. Only then can you understand.
Only when you learn not to be selfish will you understand the truth.

Dear Anni,
I grew up as a missionary child in an Islamic country for nearly six years. All I can saw is that not once was I scared, or felt that I was not safe. If I got lost, I was sure someone would drop everything to help. I do not feel this way in Australia. I don’t agree with a few Islamic teachings, but all I know is that love and compassion and understanding does not only exist in America. Humans are all in the end human the way people act will always come down to the experiences of the individual. I don’t think you need to worry about your children growing up in a Islam-influenced world. I often wish I was.

I think you need to wake up and smell the Starbucks. You are the safest woman in the world, i think you need to go out more and see for yourself the devestation your beloved and peaceful country is doing. Have you not seen your billions of dollars shipped off to Israel for them to carry out their murders, and the blood is on your hands. So dont be upset that crazy Muslims will overtake the USA one day, if anything Islam is the fastest growing religion in the states, and most of those are converts from christianity. Read the Quran, do not rely on your biased media to feed you junk and fast food news, thats what they want you to hear, you need to hear and see the truth. Use the internet to do some research, dont use it to whine and cry about fiction.

Wow, really quite a lot of misinformation for you Anni. The reality is Islam requires the complete and utter loss of free thought. You must follow every word of the Koran to be a good Muslim and have not a shred of doubt. The Koran teaches that those that are not Muslim are little more than animals and they should either convert or die. They are very weak right now, but in the past when they were strong they devoured country after country and it is why the Islamic world is as large as it is today. It is simply the nature of the beast. While they are weak they have always feigned good will. But let them get a majority and say goodbye to your freedom. This is not a danger for the US but many Euopean countries are in danger of letting their Muslim minorities one day outnumber the native population considering their own flat birth rates compared to the rocketing birth rates of their Muslim populations. It is a very real threat that one day all of Europe could be lost to this lunacy if they don’t stop fooling themselves. Luckily Muslims have become their own worst enemy at the moment, contributing nothing to humanity in the last 400 years. Too busy memorizing the koran word for word, and chanting death to America. As if it was anyone’s fault but their own that they are so enamored by delusion and ignorance. But this dedication to ignorance will keep them poor at least and not give them the weaponry to force their delusion down the worlds throat. But the world better start paying close attention, instead of pacifying Islam just like we did to Hitler.I have no great love for Christianity but it pales in comparison to the evil of Islam, for anyone who values freedom and would like to see humanity one day reach it’s true potential.

Its true.. wat if the terrerists do win? Will God save us… will he sacrifice himself for us all again? Or didnt it even happen in the first place.. Im SO confused. But if God does show himself then won’t people belive then? because seeing is beliving.. or is it… all i can say for now is we have a (almost) free world and lets enjoy it while we can.. I’m gonna visit Paris, The Grand Canyon, The Great Barrier reef and all the most beautiful things in this world….

I’m from an Islamic country and I’m proud to say that i’m a Christian. Here we live together in harmony by respecting each others religion. There’s no way i’m gona convert into a Muslim but personally I respect them. Not every Muslim is a terrorist. It doesnt matter if we’re praying to God or Allah but we’re all on the same track.
