Dear God,
I wake up every day (well almost) knowing how lucky I am to be alive. I was born with a heart condition that, at the time, was little known and the surgery was difficult to survive. I know something drove my mother to the hospital on all four occasions to get me help (the first three she was turned away- they said I was fine). It must have been a higher power that guided the surgeons fingers when I died on the operating table and he had to pump my little heart back to life with two of his fingers. I survived, fully intact and continue to thrive into adulthood. While some of my peers died without a proper diagnoses, or on the operating table, some made it out of surgery but as shells of their former selves but I am perfectly healthy (except for the annual cardiology appointments). So what was it all for- why am I one of the few who lived? Should I be doing more with my life? Or was it all just luck? I think of all the ones who didn’t survive, the parents who lost their babies and wonder if my life would make them proud. Special, San Diego, Ca, USAShare:

Thank God for the life that you have, for the life we all have. Your life sounds nothing short of miraculous, and I hope you live a life that is fruitful and fulfilling. Do make those parents proud - i can’t think of anything worse than to lose a child

There are a lot of whys which will not be answered until we are face to face with Jesus in the kingdom. Try not to agonise over the whys. Live a very loving life, reaching out to everyone you touch - just a smile will make someone’s day. Count your blessings and keep in touch with Jesus every day. Be happy and excited about your life, and that will transfer to others.

The most amazing tribute you can pay all those who have supported you — your mother, your surgeons, the higher power you believe in — is to live the life YOU want to live. Live it up. Do more with your life, or less, or whatever; a life full of happiness is one worth saving.

Special, I hate to be the bearer of truth, as it is so often so very hard to hear, but of course it was just the luck of the draw. Did god care less for the others that died. Is it really part of his “plan” when a school bus full of children are burned alive. To believe this cheapens everything. These children all died tragically, and to simply say god did it for a reason only cheapens their memory and makes it all the more likely that it will happen again. After all why bother to do anything if everything that happens is just part of god’s plan. Why even try and figure out why it happened. It’s just part of god’s plan. To believe such as this is to live in a fantasy world. Don’t waste your chance at life on fantasy. Just because it was random luck that brought you through it, doesn’t mean you are not special. Please don’t waste your lottery winnings on delusion and fantasy. The world is already full of that and it is not doing it a lot of good. Search for truth your whole life long and face the understanding that comes with this search with courage. Leave faith for those too weak for this journey. You will then be just as special at death as your were at birth. All the best. Kozz

i think this to my self.
im a normal human bieing i have my ups and my downs and for the most my life is fun. still i wonder should i be out in the world trying new extreme sports and helping green peace. will i lie on my death bed regretting not doing this. PERHAPS. still i figure for the momment im happy. my lack of these things in my life doesn’t mean the things that are in it aren’t great. if you know you have fun and are surrounded by people that love you and make you laugh then i think thats all you can ask for. you can’t be displeased at that.
aim for more and if you dont make it u still have a great life to fall back on.

you dont have to do something great to be great. do you want to do something great is prorbaly a more acuarte question.
i suppose you feel you havnt lived enough.
but i think your feeling surviros guilt more tha anything.
maybe if you feel the need to give back you could be a lifesaver or something.
but i honestly think being grateful and happy to be alive is enough.

Well, in my humble opinion, this “little” thing you went through clearly shows that it could of been different (you could of ded, and be somewhere else now).
So, someone, or somehow, you were chosen to continue this life, apart from the others, who did not have the same “chance”, “luck”.
Does that mean you have something to do with them? You dont know them, they dont know you. Who knows? Aren’t we all just a big family?
I dont think that what hapened to you obligates you to something, but it sures gives you something to think about. A little “strike” in a better direction. Might be, huh?

Yes. you are here for a reason. I really don’t care if you have heard it before and don’t want to here it again but here it is again……MAN WAS CREATED TO SERVE AND PRAISE GOD…..whether you were born in BC, AD, PRESENT, PAST, FUTURE or “?ever”.
just because you were spared doesn’t mean he let you live because he wanted you to be on stage for all to say WOOOOOOOOW! look how great she is. God, doesn’t need a show. He is his own show. Your purpose here is to seek Christ and his kingdom and allow him to use you to help build the kingdom of heaven, and what I mean by that is that you have to believe CHRIST died on the cross for your sins. Yea, I know you’ve heard it all before. Then why not give him a chance and recieve the gift of the HOLYGHOST (same thing) “HOLY SPIRIT”. We all were put here for the same purpose. Now whiile we are here God also gives us gifts and talents which can be used as a tool to assist in providing matainence support for survival purposes such as using our talents and gifts to get an education or invent something or just plain find a job that you like that inhibits your gifts/talents so you can make a living to survive in this world until he returns to take you home with him. Man fell from grace when the serpent deceived us “human”. That’s why he sent his only begotten son JESUS to redeem us and bring us back to him to fulfill his first desire and that is to have a loving father and children relationship with him. Be happy that the Lord smiled on you, because that’s what he did when he said “this one has to go back so she can hopefully, fulfill my plan for her”. God want force himself on you because he is a true gentleman and everyone knows that a gentleman don’t force himself on anyone, you have to want to be saved and to live for him because that’s the reason you are here.
P.S. You can not asume responsibility for other souls that the Lord did not allow to live on earth. They are not your souls! ALL SOULS BELONG TO GOD and God is God all alone. Don’t allow Satan to use that trick on you that you have to perform for people that donot exist, that makes a person sound mental.
