Dear God,
If God were to read all these letters he would be as disappointed as if he were able to see into the hearts of us.This life UNWANTED, cloned over and over again. And God is to blame??? Look out into our streets and into our homes and the hearts of man. If what you see, what you experiance, and how life makes you feel. makes your life ‘unwanted’ too. Then at least know that it it’s us that make it so. The people. Not God.
It’s our actions that turned this perfect world bad. When someone (a human person, NOT god) goes on a shooting spree in a school and murders innocent people , if he say’s that god told him to do it, do you believe him? No? Nobody does… and he’ll be locked in a padded cell, because it wasn’t the voices in his head that shot those kids dead, it was him. God is not the offender here. So… he did not come and rescue us from ourselves… That’s because we’re not worth saving. Even the good are bad. This is what we did with our free will. Hate, kill, judge, neglect, molest, rape, torture, war, greed, money, control, drugs and on and on we chose.

Its true. Having created the earth, the heavens, the animals, the skies and the elements - having created food and water, rain and sunshine, fruit and clouds and oxygen - how can we then turn around and say: no thanks?
I’ll tell you how: because we do not live in earth and heavens, and we do not feel the elements anymore. a very long time ago, the people before us swapped what was created for money, and now we - the future generations are suffering from the concrete landscape, the acid rain, the neverending need to make money and work work work. We are suffering now, but we didn’t make this world: the people before us did. And now we are screwed, and we’re feeling it.

We are to blame for what has happened to this world. But there is still hope. I’ve seen miraculous things happen. Miracles happen all the time and they keep happening. There is hope for the future. God did come and rescue us, His very own Son died because of all that we have done wrong. And if we just believe in Him then one day we will be free of all the pain that this world holds. And one day beyond that this world will be free of pain and suffering as well. Even while we still live on this Earth good things keep happening. Good things will keep happening so long as good people never give in to evil. You’ve got to take a stand and not give up. Yes, we all make mistakes, we have all done something wrong. But so long as there is good left in some people all the wrongs can be overcome. I believe that there is good in everybody. All you have to do is find it. You know what’s right and wrong, so long as you do the right thing, no matter how hard it might be, this world will be alright.

Rock… You are very lucky to be so optimistic. And the fact that you think you are seeing miracles, is great. But i don’t feel rescued. For over 2000 years we have waited. People have been waiting for ‘one day’ a very long time. And all that’s happened since is more pain and more suffering. Less faith and less hope. What is God waiting for??? Is he busy? Maybe he’s reading these letters? And if he’s already rescued us from our sins then what now, who’s going to rescue us now? I’ts not our sins we need saving from, it’s human nature, our god given selves. The truth is that if we rely on God to come and wash the pain away then we don’t have to take responsibility now and do something about this life ourselves. I pray that god is true because i have loved ones who’ve passed on i hope to heaven. But God is not here on earth, and ‘nor will he ever be. I do the right thing, and the world is not alright.

But when you think about it, humans can’t change everything. there are things that are beyond our control, things that aren’t our fault and then whose fault are they? you’re saying that god doesnt want to hear our whining but it’s human nature. we dont blame him deep down but if we dont have someone to blame then we dont know what to do, there’s a reason that there are higher powers so that if things arent going right at all we can blame someone, we can put it out there and we’re not really blaming him anyway, its a cry for help.

I don’t blame God, I thank him. I thank him for making me the way I am, good or bad. I thank him for my family, my friends, and my foes. I thank him for every smile and every tear. I ask him why he does the things he does, but I accept them as a part of his divine plan. We are human, we’re allowed to pass blame every once in awhile.

I agree with Jasmine. I refuse to take responsibiity for others’ insane, violent, criminal, ignorant, evil actions. However, I will accept that I am here, trying to work within it to the best of my ability, trying to make my life work for myself and my family. My actions have hurt NO ONE. As a matter of fact, speaking from my own corner of the world, there have been countless times my good deeds have been severly punished and after the fact, I STILL never regretted what I had done. So besides all of my many small human foibles and imperfections, I still refuse to take a large chunk of responsibility for this world and what has been made of it. Despite that, I am still here to imprve myself as well as to help improve this earth and others.

if there was no god, there wouldn’t be a sense of meaning, life would’ve been simpler and though monotonous, but peaceful to the end. why would god have created us in the beginning knowing that we would sin. what lesson does he have to teach us when truly, we’re merely a creation that would not be around forever and ever. would souls carry forth the lesson learnt from the time spent in earth and move on to a new species of organisms somewhere else and live on for something new? maybe, maybe not? we come and go as nothing, we bring nothing in death - there’s no meaning in true life. shooting or no shooting, ending lives sooner or later makes no difference. eventually, all are meant to die.

I was talking to my friends about this site and i strongly believe in you that it is not God’s fault at all. the only thing i disagree partially about is that blaming it on ourselves. i believe this to an extent. the part where it stops me is that we might be blaming ourselves too much but the evil in the world is not ourselves but Satan. he made this world corrupt. so its not God’s fault, he is all divine and perfect. It is not our fault to an extent. We were born into God’s family and in that, we should carry our duties being christlike and showing love and compassion to those in need. i said this to some friends also. “we live in the comfort in our own home while others in the world suffer. ” i then wished that i could do something to people going through intense sufferings but it is out of my power. the only thing to do is pray to God and our prayers will be answered.

Pain and salvation; cause and effect.. without pain or suffering there is no faith or hope for the better, it would be such a gray and dull life that lacked contrast without God in this world to remind us all of the struggle we face from day to day is to in the end bring us to him in heaven. All sin stems from the first original sin of Adam and Eve and now all future generations must adhere to all types of disgusting things as a direct result from the dishonesty. Let us all rejoice in the name of Christ, let us all glorify and praise and thank him in our hearts for reminding us that without destruction there is no beauty to be replaced there to remind us of his existence.
Christ, lord of all this world, on the day of your death you became victor over the world… so let the triumphant trumpet play and let your presence shake this earth in remembrance that you are set in stone to bring the sick, the broken, the lame a song to help cure them of their unfortunate lives.

Let us Praise our Lord God and HIs son Jesus for ALL that HE hath given us, ALL of it as we are commanded and LOVE unto HIM with ALL of our might.

The night my grandfather died, between pained breaths he said “I think we were brought here to learn to love each other”.
You are right that many times people have chosen not to love, been indifferent, or chosen to hate altogether. But let me say without hesitation that there is still hope for kindness, joy, peace, respect, passion, and unconditional love as long as someone is willing to stand up for it. I’ve learned to love most when I have loved in the face of hate, fear, greed, rape and control. Jesus died so that when I fail to love, which I do, I might have a second chance to get up and keep fighting for love in a world where many are indifferent or opposed.
Many choices made by people make this life feel unwanted. People may be to blame for making others feel unwanted, but we also have the option to be the one who opposes that message when others present it. Jesus died to show us that even if others make us feel unwanted, He loves us and is fighting for us. Love is choosing to add your voice to that message when others need it.
I love you, God loved me first, what other choice is there

Yes. it is correct that we should blame ourselves for what we’ve done but it’s wrong to think that God is NOT RESCUING us from ourselves. In God’s eyes, we are all worthy of saving for we are His creation and His children.. Humans are naturally born good. It’s the wrong decisions we make that make us bad. God has never-ending LOVE and FORGIVENESS. He died for us. He is always there to guide us in everything we encounter.

Dear Australia
There will always be bad things that happen in this world…that doesn’t mean you need to focus on them. God has gives us a choice to choose what aspect of life to look at.. I choose to look at every situation and look at all that is good in that situation. While it may be true that even good situation have bad things in them, I restrict myself to look only at the good to me the world is perfect right this very moment. Take the time right now to just think of only the good things you have now…it could be health, family, good friends, a roof over your head, someone to talk to, a meal on the table. No matter how small this good may be, the magic is when you focus on the good things you amplify them and sooner or later you will see the how good every situation can be no matter how bad. It may sound ridiculous to some (good ideas often start out that way) but don’t let that stop you from giving it a shot. The more you put into it the more the reward.
Best of Love and Blessings

allow the abundance of the universe to flow through your spirit, be grateful for the things you have, you have a computer, thank Giod for that! I have days that I feel like crap, am in a depressive mood… buit I NEVER blame God.
Now, doors are opening for me, in places and ways I never could have imagined .. I am open and receptive to all the good in the universe.
I have learned the law of attraction, and have started to practice iit, already, I am in awe of the subtle things that are changing.
What I think is what I get … I try to monitor my thoughts, to be aware of what I am thinking.
One day, I turned on my tape recorder, recording my phone conversations with friends ….. I was SHOCKED at all of the negative things that came from my mouth. Far more negative than good. Wow …
I am so grateful for all of the blessings I have been given … even this website.
Bless you, and I love each and every one of you, so does God

I agree with you. We have no one to blame but ourselves. God is loving enough to give us a life to live and we deserve none of it. Constantly we turn away from Him and constantly we do nothing to change the bad around us. I don’t like to think that just because I do good things, good things happen. Bad events will always happen because there is sin, anger, hate, etc. How you react and what you do in those situations will partly define you as a person. Did you help that person? Did you ignore that person? Anyways, if God were to just let everything good happen and prevent all the bad we would already be perfect. We are far from it. Everyday I see people complaining about all the trivial things that happen in life. We can’t fix our total imperfection, but we can try to be more like God: loving and understanding. One thing I want to add is how people fail to understand others. Give everyone your love and compassion. And yes, God is with us on earth. He’s right next to us; waiting for us to make our decisions. It’s just up to us whether they will be the right decisions.

It’s wrong to say we are not worth saving. If we were not worth saving then why would God send his son to die for us??? Not only die but to be mocked and beaten for us? That screams WORTH IT all over. We are worth Jesus, we are THAT valuable and if you don’t believe that you ought to because it is the truth. The most commom scripture John 3:16 says it all. That’s all i have to say.
By the way if anyone is looking for a good Christian church that teaches the depths of God’s word with love and integrity then visit El-shaddai.org.uk and find an El-shaddai church near you or you can download our free podcast, there are also some lovely reads on the websites too on different subjects so have a visit.

Dear Australia,
It is perfect that this world is flawed. Whether God truly meant for us to take our free will and “hate, kill, judge, neglect, etc.” with it or not is irrelevant. What is divinely beautiful is that he gave us the gift of free will in the first place: “Thou mayest rule over sin” - Genesis 4:7. You may, or you may not conquer sin in life, but the beauty is that it’s up to you. Perhaps you will find peace of mind with the knowledge of your control over your own thoughts, decisions and actions in this world and know that you may strive for love, joy and compassion. It is beautiful that you are so tortured by the evil that occurs here on Earth because it means that you have compassion for others; but don’t generalize it to blame the human race, worry about YOUR actions here. After all, how would you appreciate the good things in life without the bad things? You do not have to blame the human race for the horrible things in the world. Humans may often be the ones who caused them, but the blame is irrelevant - I don’t believe that God has left us here to fend for ourselves alone and that’s why He has not saved us; if anything, He values those who DO strive to be good and appreciates the crosses we bear (no matter the scale) on a daily basis. Earth is, after all, often seen as the battleground between Heaven and Hell and for us to find true perfection here is unrealistic and doubtfully what God meant for us. Try to focus on the triumphs over evil in life and the enormous, divinely flawed beauty that is the makeup of our planet and its inhabitants.
Best of luck with your life and thank you for provoking us to think more about this topic.

You poor, poor people! Really! So confused and swimming in such a muddy pool of contradictions and impossibilities that your belief has created in you. No longer able to see even the simplest of truths. Do you really not understand that this world, right now, is heaven? Just look around you for a moment at reality. Without pain there would be no joy. Most people are not the way they are simply because they make a decision to be that way, most are the way they are because we have evolved incredibly complex brains, and we live in a complex world, and we, in fact, do have free, will and all of this interact to create all manner of people who exist. Just as being you being born into a religious family has caused you to forgo your rational thought and has caused you to not be able to see that if you were born into a different religion you would believe a different fantasy as truth. It has also caused you to not be able to see that if you believe in god you can’t possibly also believe in free will, since you couldn’t possibly vary from the plan, and the end, god sees for you, or he would not be all knowing. I could fill a book with things that any rational person should see clearly, and yet you cannot, or will not see.
How do you think it might affect a world if vast numbers of people on it, lost touch with reality, and thought all they needed to know was in a single book. Most of the horrific things you see in this world are caused by such people. Do you really think we would have what we have today if were left up to people such as this? It’s no accident that 95% of all top scientists are Atheist. These are the people who are going to save your kid next time he is sick, or are finding ways to feed the world, or to prolong life, or to save the environment. All the while you sit on your hands and debate things which any free thinking 10 year old would find laughable at best. WAKE UP PEOPLE. The world needs you.
