Dear God,
Reading this page has made me realize just how lucky I am. So many people just want to be happy and safe, for the moment, I am both.
I am thankful for my life, my career which I adore, my students who trust and look up to me, my friends who love me, my family who love and care for me, my wonderful home, my brain and my intelligence. Thank you that the sun comes up in the morning, and goes down in the evening.Please give all the people who need it strength, be with them and hold their hands though the tough times. I believe, without a doubt that you have a plan for me, please help me to fulfill it to the best of my ability, there is a reason everything happens, help me not to get side tracked with my own agenda.
When it is my time to go, and I hope it’s no time soon, I hope that I will have made a difference. xxx

Gratitude. I thank the Gods, Divinity or what ever name you want to give the essence that watching over our lives all the time. I almost trip down the stairs, a car almost sideswipes me, I almost drop a jar of pickles on the floor, any time there’s even a minor catastrophy averted I say out loud, “Thank you.” I don’t think calling it an Angel, Fairy, God/Goddess or anything else really matters. What matters is that I acknowlege that divinity is working in my life every day.
This is how I start each and every day and end each day:
Good Morning Father I humbly ask for your guidance and protection
Good Morning Mother I humbly ask for your guidance and protection
Good Morning Parald Ruler of the East and Ariel, Dijinn Ruler of the South and Duncan, Niksa Ruler of the West and Muriel, Ghom Ruler of the North and Grandfather gnome. Wee ones, The Sidhe, other fairy folks and creatures of your realm I humbly ask for your guidance and protection
Good Morning Ancient Ones, Reiki, Spirit and Animal Guides and all other guardians and Little Laura I humbly ask for your guidance and protection
(Inhale) Wisdom and knowledge enter
(Exhale) Ignorance, Prejudice, Negative thinking and speaking leave.
(Inhale) Humility and Selflessness enter
(Exhale) Ego and know it all attitude leave
(Inhale) Health, healing, and Touch for health enter
(Exhale) Aches, pain, disease, inflammation, toxins, infection, excess fat and blockage leave
(Inhale) Prosperity enter
(Exhale) Poverty leave
(Inhale) Productivity enter
(Exhale) Procrastination leaves.
(Inhale) I’m a positive energy magnet
(Exhale) All negativity is expelled and repelled by me.
In the evening I say
Good Night Father my sincerest thanks and blessings for this day. Etc.

Thanks for praying for those of us who still need to reach the wonderful place that you are in right now. I have been down in the dumps for most of my life and I am hoping that I will reach my destination or next step to my Journey soon. I am not sure what God’s plan for me is but I am hoping and praying that I will know soon. Sometimes the world wants to make you lose hope but I am holding on as hard as I can.
The prayer you placed is very inspiring to me because I know that I will be where you are soon and you are also from South Africa. Thank you xxxxxxxGod Bless

I thank God for every day and this is what I believe.
I believe God’s plan for us all, is, we trust in him and behave just like he does.
In each and every daily experience, that we respond the way he does.
That we follow his guidance and look to him for the awareness we need to function in this beautiful gift of life.
Like everyone, I have experienced deaths of love ones and the wonderful births a new baby, turmoil I felt would never end, and triumph over it. God has always taken care of me and my family and we have learned to be better people for those experiences.
No matter what experiences occur in any one persons life, I believe his plan is that we are aware of how we act.
When someone is less than kind to us or more than kind to us, we should respond with the most positive awareness, just like he would and does. I believe that is what God’s purpose is for us and why he gave us the gift of life. So, it doesn’t matter if you are a nurse or an accountant or soccer mom. I am not so sure he cares what vocation we choose as long as we are aware of our behavior at every moment of this life he has gifted to us. So, we can eventually be just like him. Perfect!
I do not go to church, but I do believe that God is here for us and he believes in our ability to achieve his plan for us.
By the way, believing in God is not the deception. The deception is when we allow ourselves to not believe.
I pray for everyone to believe in their ability to achieve God’s plan.

I tahnk God as I would thank to a father, that I never had. I thank for every bad, and good thing, every bad and good person I had ever met. It is wonderfull to think what it all took to make me who I am today.
I could have more, I could complain about all the places I had never seen, girlis I had never kissed, cars I had never driven, but instead I wish to be satiesfied and inspired by the “cards” I have. My war-free country, my wife, my used car, my steady job, the ppl I know and the empathy for the world. I do belive all of those things are gifts, I do feel blessed, and I want to belive in God and Love. I CHOOSE to belive.
I do realize that beliving in God is not IN beacause belivers are not that good spenders ready to strive to sucsess on other man’s missery. As such they are ridikuled, often with envy (as by david in post 3). However to recognize the things we have gotten (life, choice, earth, promise of an afterlife…) and to USE them as gifts, without calling them OURE OWN, is a great way to feel gratitude, not to feel to big, to feel like we are a part of something great, to BELIVE we are brothers and sisters.
Also, by not interfiring into oure lifes, as a correction officer would, I belive we are shown the highest degree of trust that God (father) could have in human kind (his children). That is the only way we can discover and present oure self’s and determine what will oure afterlife be.
We have “guidelines”, we have testemonials and we do have a choice not to listen to guidelines, and not to belive the testemonials.
Faith is a matter of CHOICE, not of a feeling.

It sounds like you’re creating problems yourself by trying to solve this issue instead of looking at why their is a problem in the first place.
