Dear God is a global project for people around the world to share their innermost hopes - and fears - through prayer.
It doesn’t matter what your version of God is…Jesus, Allah, Buddha or simply a spiritual universal energy… praying to a higher power soothes and heals. It is believed that people who pray are healthier, happier and more resilient.
Share your prayers here and help us create hope one prayer at a time. Simply send us your personal letter to your God and/or a picture that sums up your message visually. (Dear God will source a picture if you don’t have one).

Your God does none of what you attribute to him. Even those who do not believe in a God experience these same things. What your God does do, however, is separate you from all those who believe differently from you, and in so doing, causes much of the strife that exists in the world. If you really want to help humanity, think about getting past the simplistic and primitive ideas of Gods, that divide us, and instead come together simply under the banner of one humanity.

I like how you say an “important” problem…I too feel that our tragedies and problems are important because from the dark times we gain the strength and renewal to become better and stronger…God bless!

It feels great knowing that someone living halfway around the world feels the same way I do.

Wow! I loved your prayer. It is like poetry. There’s a lot of happiness, we can all tell =D, and I am very glad, as well as many, I suppose, because you could deeply express what I lately tell God every day. Sometimes I feel I cannot express myself very good, but this is just as if I was writing it myself. It is good that many feel like me! And I’m sure none of us have a perfect life, but because we live so happy, positive and thankful always, for everything in our lives, we have a great life!
So congratulations for two things:
1- for knowing how to express yourself in a very beautiful way and
2- for being so thankful and, therefore, having such a great life!
God bless you always =)
