Dear God is a global project for people around the world to share their innermost hopes - and fears - through prayer.

You remove all thought of yourself and give up all that you know in selfish desire. Then you must call to God to refill you and your desires will be pure and of joy.

In chess, in order to create a strategy, you must visualize what the board will look like 10 or 12 moves in advance, then you figure out a sequence of moves to get there, life is the same. Visualize what it is you want to be, then make small moves toward that goal. Start with one thing. Something small that you can easily change. Nothing is too small. Never belittle your accomplishments, and do not tolerate anyone else who does. With each success your confidence will build, remind yourself not to take the small defeats to heart, learn from then and move on. Never hesitate because it shows fear
Never regret because it kills the soul
Be good because it is your choice
Do good because you must be active
You can live your entire life and think you have not accomplished anything, but thats never true. Even making one person smile a day means that you have done good. We are not measured by the amount of material accomplishments, but the breath of our mental ones. You ask to find yourself, but that very request shows more effort then some ever exert there entire life. By simply asking you are bettering yourself and that is the first step to getting some where that few people in life ever reach.
I think you have more to be proud of then most people ever can.

Dear Grace,
All the answers you are looking for are buried within yourself. “Your mission, Should you chose to accept it…” is to seek out those answers inside you.
Try meditating and opening your heart and mind to God in stillness. Somehow if you open yourself up to the answer in meditation the answer seems to be instantly simple and obvious. Kind of a “Why didn’t I think of that before.” Anytime you feel unsure of your path you can always sit in meditation and be still with God for a few minutes and suddenly problems you thought were insurmountable before can now be conquered with new insight. It is as if when you commune with God his all-knowing every-thing-ness makes your own problems seem minuscule in contrast.

I sense an inner termoil in your heart. You need to go into a church. Don’t be afraid. Churches are filled with people who love and care. Obviously something you are missing in your life. Go into a church and get on your knees. God’s plan will present itself to you there.
As to finding the person you are meant to be, you already have. You need to find the COURAGE TO BE THE PERSON YOU CAN BE, AND SHOULD BE. You have already taken the most important steps towards being the person you can take pride in. Just one more step is needed….

I’ve said this prayer a million times… actually it was more like “make me a good person, show me how to do it, point me in the right direction”
That was the beginning of lots of hard things happening, but now I am that good person I was shooting for.

god apparently made us. so i assume we are quite well equpit and surronded by things that can fill our lives with joy and purpose. but you can’t sit round waiting for it. do something good help someone try something new.
then you can be proud
